As a Tenant Administrator, you can manage user access and permissions by creating User groups. This article covers the process for creating Groups and assigning the App Builder role.
Creating a Group
To create a new Group:
- Click the three-dot menu in the page header and select Tenant settings.
- Under Management, click User groups. The User group page opens.
- Click Add.
- Enter a Name for the group and select the users you want to add.
- Click Save.
The newly created group will appear on the User groups page.
Assigning Permissions to a Group
As a Tenant Administrator, you can assign permissions to a Group to define what actions its members are allowed to perform. Currently, the only available permission is App Builder access, which allows users to configure CafeX Apps.
To assign permissions to a Group:
- Click the three-dot menu in the page header and select Tenant settings.
- Under Management, click User groups.
- On the User groups page, click the three-dot menu next to the required Group and select Permissions.
- Toggle the Allow configuration of CafeX Apps toggle to enable the permission.
- Click Update.
Managing an Existing Group
To manage an existing Group, go to the User groups page and click the three-dot menu next to the Group name. From this menu, you can:
- Manage the Permissions
- Edit the name of the group and its members
- Delete the Group
