The Workspace fields page allows you to create and manage workspace fields.

 

Workspace fields can be helpful in defining the context of a Workspace by storing relevant information and organizing your Workspaces into logical groups. While not required for every Workspace, depending on your particular needs, they can make it easier for users to navigate and manage the Workspaces efficiently.

Configuring Workspace Fields 

To create a custom workspace field:

  1. In App Studio, go to Workspace fields ().
  2. Click Add to manually add new fields. Alternatively, you can import fields by clicking the Import button.
  3. Specify the Name and Type of the field. Depending on the Type of the field, additional values may be required.
  4. Click Add to create the custom Workspace field.

 

Menu Grouping

If you have multiple workspaces, you can organize them into structured groups using workspace fields. By dragging and dropping field names into the configuration box, you define how workspaces are displayed in the menu based on the field values provided by workspace administrators. If you want to move or reorganize workspaces within groups, you need to update their field values accordingly.
