Configuring the Slack application

As a tenant’s administrator, if you install Slack you configure the following properties to allow CafeX to access your organization’s Slack account:

PropertyDescription
Access tokenProvide a legacy Slack API token for your workspace.

See: Slack Legacy tokens

If you cannot create a legacy token, you cannot associate your organization’s Slack account with CafeX as a tenant. Members have to associate their individual accounts.

If you do no provide an access token and allow member accounts, members of your organization can add their own Slack accounts using the Add menu.
