A client connecting to CafeX must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Intel Core i3 processor or equivalent, or later
    (3rd generation core, Sandy Bridge, January 2011)
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • To participate in Meetings:
    • Web camera
    • Microphone
    • Speakers or headphones

Bandwidth Requirements

CafeX optimizes the experience based on network conditions. See: Optimizing your meeting experience


For real time Meetings, we recommend your endpoints can sustain network speeds of 1.5mbps upload and 1.5mbps download to CafeX.

Video Resolution in Meetings

Meetings maximum participant video resolution is 720 HD.

Some camera or devices may share lower resolutions than 720 HD due to their hardware or network bandwidth limitations. CafeX does not enforce a minimum resolution.
