The App Studio interface is organized into distinct areas to help you design and configure your App: Side Menu and Work Area.
Side Menu
This is your primary navigation tool, allowing you to access various configuration areas of your App. The side menu includes the following sections:
Design editor : This is where you design and customize the user interface of your App. For details, see Design Editor.
External data source: This is where you add and manage external data sources when your application needs to interact with an external API endpoint from another system. For details, see External Data Sources.
Workflows: This is where you design and build workflows for your App. For details, see Workflows.
Rulesets: This is where you create and configure rulesets for your App. For details, see Rulesets.
Data tables: This is where you organize and manage your App’s data by adding and configuring data tables. For details, see Data Tables.
Workspace fields: This is where you create and manage custom workspace fields. For details, see Workspace Fields.
Analytics: This is where you access reporting tools, including custom reports, and dashboards to analyze your App's performance. For details, see Analytics.
Release management: This is where you can configure environments, set up an environment pipeline, and manage the deployment of your App. For details, see Release Management.
Theme management: This is where you can customize the overall look of your app. For details, see Theme Management.
Timer management: This is where you can create and manage inactivity timers. For details, see Timer Management.
Settings: This is where you can update your App’s details.
Exit App Studio: This is where you exit the App Studio.
Work Area
The Work Area is the central part of the App Studio where you interact with the content and tools specific to the section selected in the side menu. This area is dynamic, so its layout and available options change based on the selected section.
