Introducing App Studio

The App Studio is a low-code/no-code designer that allows you to build user interfaces for your App.

Using a drag-and-drop interface, you can manage and configure the components that make up your App without requiring any front-end development experience which reduces the time that you spend writing code.

App Studio also provides consistent ways for integrating data from other CafeX Platform components. This includes features such as video meetings access or calls to external APIs to retrieve relevant data for your App.

To begin creating your App, you add Pages, choose and configure Components, define data access, and apply style so that your App fulfils the goals that you develop it for.

Opening the App Studio

To open the App Studio, from the App Overview Screen, go to: Configure > App Studio.

This opens the App Studio in the Design Editor tab, allowing you to start customizing your App's interface immediately.

Important: If you do not see the App Studio, check if your App has a Custom View. The steps to create a Custom View can be found in the Building your first App guide.
