Modified on Tue, 19 Sep, 2023 at 6:29 AM

As an administrator you can review the Workspaces your members create.

You can perform the following actions on Workspaces that members of your organization own:

  • Purge Workspaces that your members create.
  • Manage the members of Workspaces.
  • Customize default settings for Workspaces that your members create.

Purging a Workspace that your Users create

Important: When you purge a work, CafeX erases the Workspace data. A purge is permanent and cannot be undone.  Its members can no longer access the Workspace.

As a tenant’s administrator, to purge a Workspace:

  1. From the menu, click Tenant settings.
  2. Click Management > Workspace.
  3. Find the Workspace to delete and select it.
  4. Click Purge.
  5. To delete the Workspace, click Confirm.

As a tenant’s administrator, to delete or archive another member’s Workspace:

  1. Add yourself as a member of the Workspace
  2. Delete the Workspace

Restoring a Workspace that your Users delete

If a Workspace owner or a coordinator deletes a Workspace, as a tenant’s administrator you can restore it.

To restore a Workspace:

  1. From the menu, click Tenant settings.
  2. Click Management > Workspace.
  3. Find the Workspace to restore and select it.
  4. Click Restore.

When you restore the Workspace, members can continue to access it.

Important: When a tenant’s administrator deletes a Workspace from the Tenant settings, CafeX erases the Workspace data. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.  Its members can no longer access the Workspace.

Managing the members of a Workspace

As a tenant’s admin you can review and modify any Workspace's members.

To  update the members of a Workspace,

  1. From the menu, click Tenant settings.
  2. Click Management > Workspace.
  3. Find the Workspace to update and select it.
  4. Click Members.
