Instead of using CafeX to host your meetings, you can use your existing Zoom account. You can only connect your Zoom account to CafeX if your tenant administrator enables it for your CafeX tenant.
Installing the Zoom App integration
If an administrator enables Zoom for its members, the settings only apply to members of their tenant. This means that they can no longer use CafeX to host meetings and they have to connect their Zoom account. The settings do not influence the meetings that belong to other CafeX tenants. If another tenant uses CafeX for its meetings, then members of your organization join their meetings using CafeX.
As a tenant administrator, to install the Zoom application integration:
- If necessary, Sign into CafeX
- Open your profile menu > Tenant settings
- Go to Management > Applications
- Find Zoom and click Install
- In the main menu below Applications, click the new Zoom application
- Check Enabled and click Update
The next time a member of your tenancy signs into CafeX, they can connect their Zoom accounts to CafeX to schedule meetings.
Connecting your Zoom account
Important: You can only connect your Zoom account to CafeX if your tenant administrator enables the Zoom application integration for your CafeX tenant.
If Zoom is enabled for your organization, CafeX prompts you to connect your Zoom account the first time you join a meeting.

- If necessary, sign into CafeX
- Open your profile menu > Profile settings
- Go to Your application accounts
- Click Connect an account

After you connect your Zoom account to CafeX, the following meetings use your Zoom account to host:
- Meetings that you schedule in CafeX—See: Scheduling a meeting
- Workspace meetings where you are the owner of the workspace

- Click Settings > Schedule Meeting
- Ensure the Use Personal Meeting ID (PMI) when starting an instant meeting setting is turned off
