As an administrator, you can review the Workspaces your members create. You can manage these Workspaces by performing various actions, such as purging them, managing their members, or customizing default settings for newly created Workspaces.
You can perform the following actions on Workspaces that members of your organization own:
- Purge Workspaces: Permanently delete Workspaces that your members create.
- Restore Workspaces: Recover Workspaces deleted by their owners or coordinators.
- Manage Workspace Members: Review and modify the members of any Workspace.
- Customize Default Settings: Adjust default configurations for Workspaces created by your members.
Purging a Workspace
Important: When you purge a Workspace, CafeX permanently erases the Workspace data and it cannot be undone. Workspace members will no longer have access to the Workspace.
To purge a Workspace:
- From the menu, click Tenant settings.
- Navigate to Management > Workspace.
- Find the Workspace you want to delete and select it.
- Click Purge.
- Confirm the action by clicking Confirm.
As a tenant’s administrator, to delete or archive another member’s Workspace:
- Add yourself as a member of the Workspace.
- Proceed to delete the Workspace.
Restoring a Workspace
If a Workspace owner or a coordinator deletes a Workspace, as a tenant’s administrator you can restore it.
To restore a Workspace:
- From the menu, click Tenant settings.
- Navigate to Management > Workspace.
- Locate the Workspace you want to restore and select it.
- Click Restore.
Once you restore the Workspace, members can continue to access it.
Managing the members of a Workspace
As a tenant’s administrator, you can review and update the members of any Workspace.
To update the members of a Workspace:
- From the menu, click Tenant settings.
- Navigate to Management > Workspace.
- Locate the Workspace you want to update and select it.
- Click Members. From here, you can add, remove, or modify Workspace members as needed.
