When you view a document shared in a Challo track, Challo uses an appropriate viewer from those available to display the content to you. Which viewer Challo uses depends on what the source of the content is, and how your organization’s Challo administrator configures your instance of Challo.
If a member of a Challo track chooses to view a document, Challo displays the latest saved version of the resource in their browser. Challo uses an appropriate viewer to display a particular document—for example, it uses the Google viewer for Google documents.
Challo maintains the identity of track members to display content and may pick different viewers for different track members. For example, if a track member authenticates with Google’s SSO, and opens a document that they have permission to edit, they can edit the document from within Challo. However, someone without permission to edit the document may use the Google viewer to display the document.
If a track member does not have access to a specific viewer, Challo may attempt to use a different viewer to display the document. For example, if someone cannot access Google Drive, because an administrator disables it, Challo displays the document inline as a PDF—see: Using alternative file viewers
