To update your profile and settings:

  1. From the menu, click your avatar
  2. Click Profile
  3. Change your settings as necessary
  4. Click Update

Your profile contains settings that set the default notification behavior across all event sources.

You can also enable or disable the following push notifications:

  • For your desktop devices
  • For your mobile devices

Managing your default push notification behavior 

Challo sends push notifications from the following event sources:

  • Chat channels
  • Direct chats
  • Track entry comments

To set the default behavior:

  1. Open your Challo profile
  2. For each event source, select one of the following:
    • None—To receive no chat notifications.
    • Mentions only—To only receive notifications if someone uses @ to mention you by name.
    • All messages—To receive a notification of every message.

Managing your default email notification behavior 

Challo sends emails from the following event sources:

  • Track entry email notifications—When the following occurs on a track that you are a member of:
    • Another track member uploads a file to a track.
    • Another track member adds an application integration, such as a Google Drive or One Drive document to a track.
    • Another track member adds a link to a track.
    • Another track member uploads a new version of a file into a track.
    • Another track member uses an application integration to upload a new version of a file.
    • Important: If someone uploads a file using an application integration folder view, such as Google Drive, Challo does not send notifications.
    • Missed message email—receive an email summary for unread mentions and direct messages.

To set the default behavior:

  1. Open your Challo profile
  2. Under Track entry email notifications, select one of the following:
    • None—To receive no notifications
    • Entries on all tracks—To receive notifications from all entries on all tracks.

Setting your phone number

If you add your phone number to your Challo profile, when you join a meeting using your phone, Challo identifies you to meeting participants so that your name appears in the list of meeting participants instead of your phone number.

If you set your phone number, it is ready to use when Joining a meeting using call me.

To associate your phone number with your Challo profile:

  1. Open your Challo profile
  2. Click Phone number > Set phone number
  3. Enter your phone number
  4. Click Add number
  5. Challo sends you a SMS test message to verify your phone.
    It can take a few seconds to arrive.
    The verification code is valid for 5 minutes.
  6. Enter the numerical code and click Verify number.

You can only link one phone number to your account.

To change or remove your phone number:

  1. Open your Challo profile
  2. Click Phone number > Change phone number
  3. Click remove phone number

After you unlink your phone from your profile, you can associate a new number.
