Assist® hangs and will not establish call.

If you are establishing a call through Assist® and you run into this error:

Got response from Assist server. Status Code: 403 Response: Forbidden

You will need to navigate to your gateway address:


Then: Live Assist (tab)> General Administration 

In here you will need to change the "Anonymous Agent Access" to Enabled like so:


Refresh your browser and retry the call. 


If you are only getting this when running the assist session in correlation ID (CID)

Then you need to navigate to the same page as above but change the Anonymous Consumer Access to "trusted" like so:


Again Refresh your browser and this should work as expected.
